The Belize Zoo and Tropical Educational Center announced, this week, plans to celebrate its 40th anniversary and second annual Sharon Motola Day with the visit of conservation explorer and wildlife biologist Jeff Corwin.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023. All Belizeans will be able to enter the Zoo free from 8:30am to 3pm. There will be wonderful activities for all, including the public debut of Neo the river otter! Later that day, the Zoo will be hosting its first ever Wild Tales Dinner, which will be an evening of stories, celebration, recognition, and entertainment, with all proceeds going to efforts to honor Sharon's legacy.
