what do they rent down there and what should i expect to pay to rent one for a week? Has anyone heard of the agape house? is it nice and what about its location?

You can rent golf carts or bicycles (no scooters). The list price of a golf cart is about $60US a day but many companies are offering upto 50% discount so it will depend on when you want it and how long for.

We had some folks stay at the Agape House recently and then move to our house for the second half of their holiday. The Agape is a nice house north of the river cut so very quiet, but if you want to frequent the bars and restaurants in town you will have to hire a golf cart/bicycle and use the water taxis at night (the ferry closes at 8pm).

thanks for the info. how far is agape from town and is that the only reason they moved. also where is your place and how can i get info on that. I'm trying to keep my options open for as long as possible. Usually when i have this many problems making a choice, I just catch the flight and worry about it when i get there. but i have no clue about belize or ac, guess thats why i'm going. thanks again, have a great day....BRIAN

rent a golf cart at carts r us across from Ramons next to the airport on the road going south. $33 per day is better than anyone elses weekly rate.

The main reason they went to the Agape was that our place was already rented for the beginning of their stay and this was the only other available that suited their needs (3 bed beachfront) that was available at the time.
