Bodie,

What skill level are your divers? How long will you be on AC?

Hubby & I are both advanced, but I feel more comfortable diving max 80/90. We dove Bonaire 2 summers/ Florida Keys and St. maarten besides local dives. Probably we have 50 or so dives, deepest being 100.

The nurse sharks and stingrays are at Shark Ray Alley in the Hol Chan Marine Santuary. This is a shallow dive with I think a max depth of 30' and in some places only 6 or 8 feet deep (lots of snorkler's)It's also the only place I know of for a nite dive. It's a channel, so depending on the tide you will have some current either going out or coming in.I'ts worth doing IMHO. Oh, the Park charges a small fee so be sure and ask you dive operator how much so you can bring cash with you. I think It's 5 bucks US p.p.

The reef is about 500 yards off shore so no shore diving. Inside the reef depth are something like 50' - 80' outside 80'-120'. Lots of nice sand chutes, swim througs, coral and fish.I'll look in my dive log and tell you what our favorites have been. For wall diving you have to go to the outer atolls, and this requires a full day for three tanks.
My favorite so far is Half Moon Wall.I'm not sure if anyone goes there without the first tank being the Blue Hole.

Do you have three days to dive (using the 24hrs. befor flying rule) or threen days on AC. Hope this helps. I'll look at my log book and post our favs.

Dive safe!

Ron

We had a wonderful experience with Patojo at the Tides. Very easy going and helpful. He took us everywhere we wanted and showed us dives off the beaten bath. Blue hole is a must and so is Half moon wall. I am going back in October and won't dive with anyone but him!

Dont miss Pillar Coral and M & M.
I personally like the diving around Habaneros as well. There seemed to be an abundance of juvenile fish there which is what I love to see. Lot's of variety as well.
Love Tunnels is another great spot too. Nice swim throughs and tunnels.

After looking thruogh my wife's and my dive logs, we would reccomend:Tackle Box ( 80' lots of swimthroughs and fish) Beuna Vista (85' Massive coral fingers divided by sand chutes) Cypress Canyons (87' nice long tunnel at beggining of dive) Pillar Coral (79' The name says it all) Love Tunnel (91' Dark tunnel bring light!) ANY OF THE OUTER ATOLL DIVES!!! Turneff North has gotten pretty beaten up, go to the Elbow instead.

These are just comments from our dive logs. The depths given were our max depths, not necessarily the bottom.
Have a great trip and Dive Safe!

Ron
