I have just visited San Pedro and saw many items that I would like to purchase and ship home. Does anyone know where I can contact Iguana Jack? I tried to find him while in town and knowbody knew where his shop is. I saw a number of his pottery pieces around town. Would love to purchase some of his art. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, what is the best way to get packaged and ship heavy items from San Pedro to the US?

I believe that Iguana Jack is out of business. He had a shop on Middle Street for a while, but I think its closed now.

To my knowledge Jack is no longer in Belize but you can purchase some of his work at the Sea Fan gift shop on Middle Street in San Pedro, or in the art gallery in the Tourist Village in Belize City.

The shop you buy from will ususally have a preferred method of shipping depending on the product, size and weight. Our goods tend to be light but sometimes large in size and we send them as insured international parcel post. They are breakable so we wrap them well, we have never had a problem with damage (so far - touch wood!)and they arrive in about 10-14 days to the US. About another week to Europe.
