Anybody know about beach picnics from your hotel?

Staying at Tropica in November and website advertises for beach picnics where they catch lobsters etc and cook on the beach for you!!

Sounds great, has anyone done this?

By the way, has anyone else had their post deleted from the board. Ousted from AC before I get there, feel kinda dirty and cheap! shocked

Thought maybe I could meet some boarders when we come down, but now I think I'll have to wear a mask!!!!

Thanks, Deb cool cool cool

Last Feb we went out with a couple of guys from Hustler (can't remember names right offhand, but I wrote them down for next time). We headed north, did some snorkeling, some diving, some fishing. picked up some snapper and conch. ended up at Basil Jones on the beach and had some homemade conch ceviche (best I've ever had) and the fish went onto the barbecue with some other stuff (secret stuff). Absolutely positively the best fish I ever tagged into. This whole day was the high point of the trip. When you can say the food was better than you can get in the restaurants on AC, that means it was fantastic.

Been there, done that, the washing machine ate the T-shirt
