Just wondered what is the FIRST THING YOU do in AC AFTER checking in at hotel, resort, villa etc. I hope I get some good answers!

take off my shoes & feel the warm sand between my toes. then just stare out at the ocean for a while. then get a drink.

I can see myself now. Last year I even took a picture looking down at my feet in the water, so I could remind myself once in awhile.

Straight to BC's for a frosty one and usually have Charlene dig something up for dinner as I'm too firmly planted in the barstool by then to go elsewhere.

Open a frosty beverage, sit on the dock dangling my feet in the warm, turquois water...and drink a toast to my friends back home.........then proceed to plunder and pillage me way across the island! AAAAARRRGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

I start by delivering perishable items first then the nonperishables that were requested. Usually I get drinks offered by each recipient so I am feeling pretty good by the end of my deliveries.

RobertE wasn't exactly correct. That's his fantasy of how we arrive in AC.

We arrive, get a taxi to our hotel. On the way we stop by the grocery store for as much diet coke as they'll let us have, OJ, fruit and handmade tortillas. Then we head to the hotel, get checked in. Unpack clothes & set out toiletries. Unpack dive gear and lay out for the next morning. Make sure diet coke is in fridge (RobertE's version of coffee). Change clothes & check out the hotel and beach/dock areas. Stare at the beautiful ocean and look forward to the next day's diving.

Then make our way to BC's. We typically toast all of our Denver friends that can't be there with us. (Yes, even Pirate)
