We are honeymooning in March 2003 and among many other things we would like to do the "beach picnic" where we fish for lunch and snorkel/picnic etc. Who runs this kind of trip?

Also, any suggestions on who to look up for a sunset sail?

Thanks

Hillyboo, with Freedom Tours can do this for ya. We have used him many times: You go out and fish in the AM, then in the afternoon, he'll take you to a deserted beach and cook up everything you all caught, even fresh lobster. Your hotel can get ahold of him for ya. Hope this helps!!

We just got back from our Honeymoon in Oct. Wonderful time. We Did the Shark Ray-Beach Picnic w/ Seaduced tours. It was one of the best day trips we did. If you use Seaduced, ask for Sylvan. He will make sure you have a great time. Have fun!

We did one with Hustler last Jan and it was the hit of our vacation. Fresh fish, fresh conch ceviche, snorkeled, dove, fished. This is definitely going to be repeated each trip. We went north, and had our beach picnic at Basil Jones, probably one of the more beautiful spots on the island. There were 6 of us and we set it up for our own personal day in the sun, no strangers. For a few bucks, they will let you set your own itinerary. It cost us a lot less per person than turning the girls loose for a few hours shopping.

Been there, done that, the washing machine ate the T-shirt

For the sunset cruise, I'd recommend a sail on the ElGato catamaran. You can contact Geraldo right at the boat (the pier is right near the cemetary). It's a great trip!

The Guerrero brothers, Severo 226-2324 and Ramon 226-2325, are fun, enthusiastic, very competent and great cooks. Either one could give you a great trip and lunch - they will also take you snorkeling, island tour, etc. once you have caught as many fish as you want. Second the thought on El Gatto with Geraldo Badillo 226-2264 for the sailing - he is a very nice man; his father was one of the first snorkeling guides in San Pedro.

Contact George Eiley (at the Coral Beach Dock) for a sunset cruise or day cruise (his boat's name eludes my little peanut brain this early in the morning--besides it's cold in DFW today!). George is a wonderful person and does alot of honeymoon cruises--he can be invisible so it seems like it's just the 2 of you and/or he will regale you with tales of SP while you sip rum punch! George has taken alot of couples out on an 'engagement' cruise where the proposal occurred and really enjoys what he does! And someone please tell us his boat's name so I don't spend the day racking my brain to think of it!

The boat is called Rum Punch! It came into my brain as I was sitting at work looking at a pic of myself lazing about in a hammock in Placencia last June. Rum Punch!

up north to Robles Point is a GREAT spot for a picnic. really remote, think gilligans island.

we love it up there. take some goodies, fish a little, snorkle a few times coming and going, and the fellows mentioned above can all do a great trip up there for you...

hit capricorn or rendezvous or portofino on the way back for dinner, oh man...
