God i am craving Maralyns fritters tonight.

i just can't stop thinking about them, wanting some. wanting lots of them. engorge is NOT too strong a word here.

its no longer a want thing, but a NEED thing. it hurts. i'm jonesin SO DAMN BAD...

(they have em at the Rainforest Cafe on Caye Caulker) .if you have 10 minutes on the island, so straight there. if you have longer, go repeatedly.

Yes Rose, I was wondering the samething. Are all of those who have not had the experience not know what we are missing? I bet if we can get Ms. Coconuts to discribe them we all might be able to taste them from where we are.

Yes, we are talkin about the conch fritters!!!!
They are so soft, they melt in your mouth, and have a taste that no one can describe!!! So airy, and spicy that you have to go back for more!!!
The batter and the spice's that Maryalin uses is so fantastic that even here in states its hard to copy!!? They are almost like dumplins, as what we are used to here in the states. But there, it is the norm....
Waiting Marty!!!
Hope this helps!!!!!!

Marty I know how you feel. I was feeling the same way this past weekend and made stew chicken!!! Yummmmm..... It sure was good, but still not as good as San Pedro's. A few fritters on the side and I would have been in heaven. I like the ones at The Sand Box on Caye Caulker. Spicey! To die for.... My tummy is growling.... frown

Oh man, Marty now I'm craving those delectable conch fritters of Maralyn's! We were lucky enough to gorge on them in May, along with her scrumptuous shrimp alfredo pasta, but now you've gone and put the hurt on us to want more!!! A girl can dream...

I didn't get the chance to taste Maralyn's fritters. Oh well, that just means I'll have to go back again. Soon. Very, very soon. smile
