I am thinking of staying in AC for a week Feb or March 03. Has anyone stayed at the Mata Rocks?
If so any info would be helpful.
Things around the hotel, places to eat, snorkle.

Snorkeling: great guide and great guy is Alfonso Graniel, L'il Alfonse, under "Goods and Services" drop down menu above; phones: 226-3537, 614-5450. He's great with the fish and people and is very reasonably priced - ask him about different sites.

Eat: Cracked Coconut dessert at Casa Picasso restaurant; hotel can give you directions. Have a fun time...

We have stayed at Mata Rocks for the last two years and will be going back in late January.

We love this little hotel. The people are great, its quiet, friendly and the Squirels Nest (beach bar) is about 25 feet from our room - the water is only another 30 feet from the bar - what more can you ask for?

Liz and Terry are great people. They will make you feal right at home. Everyone else will go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful time.

Hi Drippy,

We were at MataRocks for Turkey Day. It was nice. Our room had a small kitchenette (necessary!), bathroom, and balcony. The swimming pool opened as we were there.

The ride into town is nice if you get a new bike. If you get an old bike, your legs & fanny will hurt for days! Best to take a taxi or walk under the old bike scenario.

Thought everyone there was great. We'd stay there again.

My photo album has two MataRocks pictures at
