Cheri-Thanks for another perspective. I understand and agree with everything that everyone has said on the subject and thirty years of retail management and a degree in business have taught me a thing or two. Yes, it all takes hard work, I know. I have had my fair share of successes and failures both in the corporate world and in my own enterprises. I just recently closed the doors on a business because of the market and the timing was bad. But that's what it is all about...you learn from the failures as well as the successes, sometimes more from the failures. And yes you have to be a gambler and a dreamer....these are the people that make things happen...these are the creators. Those that worry and hesitate lose the creative power and think themselves right out of their dreams.
Yes...I'm a dreamer....but one who knows that dreams take hard work and vision to make them a reality. I have been responsible for seeing multi-million dollar supermarkets come from the ground up....walked the land when it was just dust....and been there to cut the ribbon on opening day...and have seen them turn into businesses that turned $720,000.00 a week! I know all about the hard work....and it's all about keeping your eye on the dream! So yes, a small enterprise in Belize is a feasible endeavor, and I will take my time and make more trips, and meet more people. Oneday, I will meet the right people, make the right connections, and the dream will begin to materialize....till then I will continue to pursue the dream!
So, again if anyone knows of or wants a serious player in the game of life that is willing to invest everything...blood, sweat, and tears....have them contact me. You never know where the next million dollar idea will come from!
