Hi to everyone,

I am looking for a quiet resort without a lot of kids. I've read a lot of posts and most of the place that look like they would have less kids are VERY expensive (we travel at xmas so it's peak season) any suggestions? thanks in advance!!!!!!

Caribbean Villas Hotel is quiet and usually has just couples or families with teenagers and above in age. They are only 10 rooms and suites on 2 acres of land with a great long-term staff dedicated to the guests and also wildlife, pier, hot tubs, free bikes. Fits any budget with rooms and suites available. They sell out for holidays many months in advance. Ask for 10% off if you book directly. For the smaller resorts you review, I suggest you ask if any kids are booked for the time period you seek. The larger hotels will probably have kids around. Have a great time there - the island is a beautiful place.

Most of the resorts on the island are small, and even if there are kids it's definitely not like being at a hotel at DisneyWorld.

Condotels tend to attract families with kids due to the extra room. Your best bet for a place without kids probably would be an expensive spot like Mata Chica, or a hotel with rooms only, not suites, such as Tropica, Changes in Latitudes, The Tides, etc.
