My mother saw first hand that the thatched roof was still in place after the storm was over at Ramon's. But she told me that there are power lines and debris every where. She said it would probaly be 4-6 weeks before there is power. ( I hope sooner) She said that it is really bad and there are alot of hurting people down there because they lost there homes~ and there belongings.( Thank goodness no lives were lost) If you can make an alternative plan~ I would recommend or if your heart is set for this area, Keep track of the clean up, rescue and aid part of it. I honestly don't think that things will be back and running as ususal around there around the end of October.
