Hi everyone, we are going to AC in early April and were wondering what the weather, water, crowds and sand fleas are like then? We're staying at Captain Morgan's...anyone stay there before??

Ac in April...see ya there....crowds..only at the pier for the Chicken drop...Weather..hard to tell..sun and rain...
My trip it rained only 1 time, but they really needed it.
Never been to CM...too pricey for my blood..plus I like to be close to town...
Regardless of all the above, you should enjoy yourself..It's a neat place, great people. I find it's the only place I've ever been that I completely let go and fully relax. No need to play the life game.
Never felt a sand flea...only Pica Pica while diveing one day.

Do a search of the old posts and you'll be reading for a week or two....I did.
Hope you find it as rewarding as I did.

VB...do you all know the lay of the land in AC..as in: Have you found the Site maps of AC?

I think where your planning on staying will be a remote enought to be alone, but still close to San Pedro town via the hand bridge..till 8pm.
After that you will need to secure a water taxi. I've never stayed up north but from all I've read it's nice. The palapa is up that way... which is highly rated.
Still hopeing to find the right lady to share AC with.
Do a search for "sand fleas" on this site..I think you use lotion around your ankles to deter them...Maybe one of the old timers can post a deterent for those nasty little beasts.

Well, I'm certainly not an old timer to the board, but IF the the little buggers there in AC are anything like the ones in other areas of the Carib. then try putting on some "Skin so soft" lotion on your calfs and ankles. Worked great in Cancun and Coz.
