it's a slow day, so I will ask this. What type of creepy crawly critters does AC have? I know about Satan & his buds in the lagoon, iguanas, sand fleas/flies, etc, but what else? I mean on the island, not necessarily in SP. Mostly birds are mentioned, but I wanna know about the creepy critters!

I shouldn't call them creepy critters, I can see where that threw ya the way it did, NY. wink I like and am curious about all critters. Snakes, big cats, spiders, etc.

Wonder if your comment made anybody nervous, NY? hahahaha laugh

thanks Marty, there is alot of info there! I am printing it out for an easy read later. I was disheartened to read about the endangered Macaws, especially as it relates to your other post "Guatemalans in Chiquibul"

NY and Chloe, guess maybe you could try and get your creepy critters added to this guide wink

Having not been there YET , So I can't say from personal experience, but about two weeks or so ago I was reading a Zoological report from Belize City Zoo that stated there is at least one Jaguar known to have been stalking (I think more like exploring) Ambergris Caye near the southern most end.

I kinda hope its true, would love to get a chance to see him smile
