When we were in AC last year we searched and could not find grapefruit juice..but were staying far north and only made it to town a couple of times...did find some concentrate but it was not good. Love salty dogs, and need grapefruit juice! Anyone know if and where it can be purchased in AC??

We know there is a local grapefruit concentrate called Citrus Valley Grapefruit Squash sold in plastic bottles on the shelf in most stores. We enjoy drinks and dishes with this. Have not shopped for US brand grapefruit juice. The fruit grapefruit is frequently available at fruit stands. Happy drinks...

Fresh grapefruit juice is available at a small fruit stand on middle st. Don't remember the name but you can ask any of the fruit stands and they will tell you where it can be found. Normally, you order it and pick it up latrt in the day. Now, that's FREASH !

That would be the Green Tree stand, just north of the soccer field on Middle SAtreet, east side of the street.

That fruit stand is most interesting, to look at the produce, that is much large than US variety.

Also some unusal items, to purchase for a new experience.

Thanks for all the info ... we tried to find that fruit stand last year but couldn't, and didn't know the name of it and were limited on time. We tried that squash stuff, but it just didn't taste like grapefruit juice! When we didn't find any we weren't sure if they had grapefruits available in Belize, good to hear they do and we will pick up some of the fresh juice ... thanks for the help.

Find Nellie's laundry on middle street. When you a facing it look to your left and walk to the first house you see. I think there is a small shop on the first floor. Don't be embarrased, just yell up to the second floor"Joe, Orange Juice" someone will come out if they are home They have the best OJ and GJ I've ever tasted served in a 1 gallon Crystal water jug (they like it if you bring an empty) for $15 BZE per gallon. A little expensive by Belizean standards but a quart of the stuff costs $4 US at our local store and isn't half as good. Have a great trip!!

diveron or anybody for that matter .... Have you used Nellies laundry before and do you recommend [or not] using them? I will be there 15 days next month and would like to bring as few clothes as possible......

is it klc that decided to bring snokle gear and no underoos? that would cut down on some laundry!
