With that budget in mind, I might be able to assist you. Contact: [email protected]
Hi, trina I would suggest the Orange Walk area. There is a lot to offer there. In particular there is the Lamanai Outpost lodge that offers exactly what you're looking for. You can contact me if you need more info at [email protected]

EJ See from your profile that you are from Alabama. Take it from an Alabamaian who goes to Belize regularly. Yes there are plenty of places you can stay for $800 a week. The time of year is important. Prices go up some times. I often go and with no reservations and walk in for a good rate. If I don't like the best price they can offer I go next door and try again. I often stay at a mid to budget priced place right in the heart of San Pedro called the Spindrift Hotel. (they have a web site). Mexican style hotel of 3 stories, stucco, air condition and un air conditioned rooms, tile floors, friendly staff, Pier Longue and Calantie's (sp?) restaurant downstairs, next door to Estelle's for breakfast and walking distance to the air port and most major places you want to go. Where in Alabama are you from? If you want more details email me at [email protected] Go to Belize soon before toooo many tourist arrive. KBG

the Hotel Del Rio near the cut is really nice and the fishing is great in that area. The Hotel's web-page is under the hotels catagory. Best-wishes, mel .........

No offence Mel S., but I was just over at Hotel del Rio the other day, and I sure wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Check out Seven Seas on the web and you will probably get a rate that brings it in under $800. Banana Beach has rooms for $68. Lilly's is OK, as is Paradise Resort Hotel. Rubies is quite a bit less than that.
A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

You can get a room at Banana Beach for $68 a night or you could spend the whole 800 and get a suite for about that. The regular rooms are very nice and a good deal for 68$ a night.

If there is a seriuos problem there, it would be good to know what's up. I heard Fido and Linda Badillo are gone, so it could be differant. Have a great evening.....mel s.
