More on the trip to AC
The day we rented the golfcart we stopped at LaPopular Bakery. It was everything I had heard about. They were almost sold out and what we bought was great.
The trip North and across the pull ferry was nothing I had experienced before. We stopped at a little bar on the beach and told the bartender fix us something really good. He then went and pulled a cocoanut from a tree and squeezed the nectar out and made us a great drink.
The trip south on the cart seemed more dusty butnot sure why. But did not matter. The views were breathtaking. We stopped at a martini bar at El Divino and enjoyed a drink there.
We tried to eat at Blue Water Grill one night and didnt realize you needed reservations since it was a two hour wait. So we went to Los Cocos. You would never see sand floors in a restaurant here for sure or dogs walking through. Ithought this was something for everyone to experience.
One thing I did see that didnt know could be done is an American lady bringing baby clothes there to sell. I noticed she triedto tear the tags off but left part of one on and Inoticed the store name. She was selling the clothing for double whatitnormally costs here. That bothered me and eventhough they were cute clothes I wouldnot patronize her since it seemed she was just trying to make bucks off of the San Pedroians.
I am looking forward to my trip back, but it will not be a diving trip for me, only an enjoyed laid back vacation. That type of diving and rough waters arenot for me.
Thanks again for everyone's advice and suggestions on this board.
