Does anyone have any weather information regarding the month of June......cannot decide exactly when to come and visit. We are thinking about Xanadu....looks great....does anyone have any preference on who to see regarding parasailing? Also, do you think you really need to rent a golf cart? All information is appreciated. Thanks.

Whether in June is fairly decent but like any Tropical destination it can have rain showers as officially the rainy season starts then. Temps are going to range in the upper 80's to mid 90's but on Ambergris Caye there is usually a nice breeze. Parasailing can be done thru Fido's court. email me for more specific info on places to stay and prices. [email protected]

Just came back in February - and it was hot then! We loved it. As to the golf carts, it depends on how far away from town you are going to stay. They're expensive to rent - a bike is much cheaper. We stayed at Changes in Latitude just south of town. We rented bikes for half a day, rode all over the place, and then made it around on foot for the rest of the week. There are plenty of taxi's if you are planning on a night out, or walk too far from your abode. Whatever you decide to do, have a marvelous time!

It is a great place: small resort, scenic, beautiful oceanside pool, well built condos that are pleasing and functional; free bikes, kayaks; 12-15-ish minute walk to town. For any resort you consider, ask if they have a discount from posted rates if you book directly yourself - many resorts give 10% or so off for direct bookings.

If you are into biking, that is a great daytime way to see the island; beachwalking is fun too, just slower. If you want a golf cart, check rates for consecutive multiple days vs. selected individual days. If tourism is slow then, you can probably get a nice discount for golf cart rental.
