Has anyone styed here? It looks pretty nice, and they have offered us a pretty good rate. Does anyone know if the units are air conditioned? Thanks!

(we're looking for a place to stay because the trip we bought on E-bay turned out to be a scam mad ).

Units have a/c - great beach bar-horrendously expensive restaurant for very average food

Do you get your money back?

Not yet, but I'm working on it. It's a mess and would have ended up costing us about $700 instead of the $200 it was supposed to cost.

If it seems too good to be true....

sorry that had to happen to you Turnbun, but that still seems like a reasonable price. Maybe it is the principle of the thing? Some of those deals with the add-ons, etc., end up being a real rip-off. This doesn't sound all that expensive tho.

where is Exotic Caye?

Hey, you are still coming, and that's what counts!

In answer to your original question, yes they normally AC the bedrooms. Have stayed there twice,00/02.They have a nice stretch of beach area, a pool, and Canuks bar is a good place to hang. Also, Coconuts is 2 places down the beach and is also a really good place. Ada always had happy hour ready for us at 10:00 am! I like that part of the south end of town as it is a little quieter than closer to town.

Shame on the scammers. Do what you can to make it right for you. I'm surprised, never heard anything happen like that before in AC. Have any of you?

Re the coconut dog...glad I'm not the only one to call him/her that. Does this dogs jaws ever get sore? I have never seen it without a coconut in its mouth! Love that dog!!!!!!!!!!
