Please post any and all info and questions about US & World media coverage of the storm here.

Just wanted to let everyone know that a friend of mine spoke with Roger Ailes (a powerful executive at FOX Headquarters in New York (212) 301-8220). My friend said he told him about the loss of life and need for help in Belize, Mr Ailes asked "how did they die?" That's how much we need media coverage in the US. Most people here in the US have no idea of what happened with Hurricane Keith.

Please note, from now on, if you are interested in learning more about what's going on with media coverage , or if you have info on this subject, post it here. I will not post again to "FOX Support" until they get a news crew on their way to Belize.

Media coverage in CT. was lousy. They focused on the Yucatan and totally minimized the impact it had on Belize

Canadian Weather Channel reported that despite The American Weather Channel reporting that Belize was devastated Ambergris Caye and Belize in general are in fair shape and will be open for business soon.

If someone can get me down there along with my 2 additional crew people, we will produce a video piece on what the people are going through and need. We will then submit it to CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, and others. We can be ready to come there on 1 days notice. We won' require any money for ourselves and will provide all the equipment and personnel needed to produce this. What we would need it air, lodging and other ancillary expenses covered while the 3 of us are there. Respectfully, Michael Bloom, SIP

I have called our local TV stations, radio, and our newspaper and have not been able to find anyone interested in covering this,,,,even though Tammy Martinez, who lives on AC is from here (Pensacola, Fl).
I am so mad and frustrated with trying to get news on this. Why are they so stupid to not want this news? Who cares about the debates last night? [Linked Image]

Wow! I stepped away to make some calls and send some emails, and I'm glad to see so many people are on board!

PLEASE KEEP POSTING ANY AND ALL INFO REGARDING MEDIA COVERAGE HERE, and ASK OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!

We have a local Orlando news team coming to talk to us tomorrow. I apologize that I only know it as channel 13, or I would give you more details.

I spoke again with American Family Radio, and they said they will start brodcasting our request for help tomorrow, and they will plug it in as often as they can for as long as they can.

American Family Radio is a network of radios stations that broadcast nationwide via independent local stations. They are affiliated with the American Family Association, and maybe we can get some help from them too!

I've been told that anyone can listen to live feeds of their programming through their website which is www.afr.com

I apologize that I do not know how to set up a link here, but if anyone knows how to do that, please pitch in.

In regards to FOX News, I just learned that one of the confirmed casualties of the storm is Kay Smith. I was told that she and her husband Buddy were an enormous help to the FOX crew while they were filming their TV show "Temptations" on Ambergris Caye. I do not know if anyone with the FOX Network is aware of this information, but they will be soon!

I need to see what else is going on, but I'll check back here soon.

PLEASE KEEP POSTING. I promise to pass along all of the comments and info here to any media resource who is willing to listen.

I'm not giving up! So please don't ask me to.

THANKS TO YOU ALL!! [Linked Image]
