Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if it's possible to walk from Captain Morgan's to San Pedro and if so, how long of a walk it is.

Thanks for your help!

You sure can! Bring some water with ya though!
How Long???
Hummm let me think... I think it took the four of us a couple hours but we were North of CM, near JE kinda.
AND we had... lots of sun, no breeze, no water. We actually were running for the shaded areas, not that it did any good. wink
Do it! It's a BLAST just to see everything!

We rode bikes up to Capt. Morgans, I thought it a bit much. If you are really into hiking it would be a nice hike. It is not a particularly scenic area. But Captin Morgans was nice for an afternoon.

Just walk south to the Palapa Bar (thats a long enough walk for anyone who is on vacation)
Have a few cocktails and sooner or later you will be able to scam a free boat ride to town.
And back if you are lucky.

Sure can, its about 3 miles each way, my guess. Best suggestion, hoof it along the beach. The road can be dry and dusty, or muddy, depending when you are there. You can break it at the Palapa Bar (best view....sit looking out to the water), or at Sweet Basil (on the road). Capricorn is wonderful, but expensive. We did the whole long trip roundtrip, barefoot, in March, but I'd suggest reef walkers or shoes unless you are used to walking a lot, or want sore feet. Have fun!

Its not that long of a walk really, maybe 45 minutes all the way in to town and across the ferry. But you probably won't want to make that your sole means of getting to and from town every time you go out. Its not so bad if you're not carrying a golf cart charger the whole way smile
