Will be arriving Sat. 5/31, :rolleyes: for diving, and have heard that the pica pica are waiting for us. Does anyone know if there's a sun screen or lotion that can be applied to the skin to protect it? If so, what's it called? :rolleyes:

Thanks seashell. That looks like what we need. If I can only find it in Indpls. I'm afraid there's not enough time to order it. Maybe a Dive Shop will carry it.

Protech Belize had 2 bottles of the SPF 30 Safe Sea in their shop across the street from the Belize Yacht Club when we departed on 5/26. Other dive shops there might have it too - I took 2 bottles of SPF 15 stuff with me from the USA and didn't have any pica pica issues personally, but I'm not sure that was what did the trick or not.

You can get Safe Sea as well as after the hit creams in San Pedro Town, at our scuba and snorkeling gear shop located in Fairdale Plaza (front of Island Academy). We are the distributor/ dealer for Scubapro, Uwatec, Trident, Diverite, OMS, and a few other companies. Prices are less than in the USA.

We had received a large shipment of safe Sea and quit a few other items. I am extremely allergic to pica pica and Safe Sea work very well.
