The week went by way too fast.

Getting there was ok but Jesus the way back was tough. Wait til you see immigration in Houston! Many flights were missed do to that jam up.

Fished with locals! Not guides. Caught many baracuda but only got to see the tarpon, snook, and mangrove snapper back in the mangrove bayous. Tried fishing from our pier. No success but showing some ladies from NY how to fish was cool.

Our Cat sail/dive/island trip was a blast. Felt sorry for our guide though. One engine had been down for years and the other quit that day. We managed to turn the boat for wind anyway but had to leave the anchor.

Shark ally was no biggy. Yeah they toss a few sardines in and one nurse shark comes up. I finned away from the boat and saw a bunch more doing their natural things. No rays.

The golf cart rental was a hoot. After 23 years I cannot believe the place. Traffic jams in San Pedro? The ferry is too cool. Our cart quit after a couple hours but we could get another right away. All my friends love a low rider.

Bike was great. All that hard coral problem mon.

We stayed @ BZE Shorer on the north end. GREAT people! Fanciest condo I've ever stayed in for a good price. The wood work was eye candy. God..I cannot believe the construction everywhere! This place is going to be Gulf Shores, AL before you know it! Naaaaaa

Everyone everywhere was so very nice to us. Some claimed they remembered me from 1980 last time. Maybe true cause there were not that many gringos around then.

May go back down for a while and play @ Captain Morgan's for room and board. If they'll have me.
It was mentioned but no deal cut.

My best experience was kayaking out from Belezian Shores to the reef then snorkeling on our own. Too cool. Saw more life doing that than any tour.

You know though....I think the reef is damaged or dying or something. Doesn't seem as complex as it once was. AND...I wonder if all those water taxis don't scare off fish. they need that many of them? yyeeeerrrrrr back and forth all day and half the night.

Anyhoo....good trip...miss the place already but then just how long can this old hippy party before I crash and burn? That's remains to be seen as I begin this my retirement life.
