When we went in May,we attempted to "shop around" for the best prices etc. on tours. What we discovered was that since there were so few tourists going out(low season, plus wind made visibility poorer and water rough) the various tour operators were combining services. For instance, only 1 operator was going to Hol Chan, 1 to Lamanai, 1 to Mexico Rocks, etc. Any facility could book the trip, then they told you which boat would pick you up in the morning. Highly reccomend Mexico Rocks for snorkeling, more fish, huge eel, eagle ray, and amazing coral gardens. If the water is murky, go in the afternoon, when the sun shines into the water and makes visibility better.
