During the rainy season, does the sun shine much at all. I know theres no sense in worrying about it but I kinda of wonder.

Each part of the country has a little bit different weather ........... and each month of "rainy season" has a different pattern too.
On Ambergris Caye, "Rainy Season" means "it might rain". Mostly squalls every few days for about 20 minutes. September is when the rains start to come more frequently, and October is when we get about 1/2 of the rain for the whole year. October is the time most risky for Hurricanes too.

Down in Placencia it rains more than Ambergris Caye, but generally not enough to ruin a vacation.

Then there is the "Rainforest" area of Toledo - read that name carefully - RAINforest ........ a daywithout rain is a drought condition. But what glorious trees, critters and waterfalls.
