Hello everybody. We're headed to AC for our honeymoon on Sunday, June 22. What's the deal with all this rain I keep seeing in the forecast?

Also, read an earlier post by someone who said the water taxis soak your clothes? Can anyone shed some light? We're staying at Portofino and will be relying quite heavily on the taxis. No big deal...not going to Belize to be a fashionista...guess it won't be too bad living in a bathing suit for a week wink

i wouldnt say they SOAK you,but the taxis are just little motor boats. it would be messy if raining. the streets in san pedro were lined with wet sand. a fast cart could splash a bit too.

dont fret, san pedro is not a place to wear your nice clothes. (best in shorts, tanks & flip flops). then rinse your feet when u get back. all part of the ambience. save your nicer clothes when at portofino.

i left san pedro yesterday & in 5 days it rained 1.5 days. however, all my friends said i brought it with me, hadnt rained since feb. it was sunny yesterday at 11 when i sadly flew out...
