Hanna's is a very good thai restuarant. Martha's seemed nice although we only ate breakfast ther and Hotes on the edge of town was a nice place to go in the evenings.

I would recommend the Aguada Hotel's restaurant for a great meal. The Pork chops are outstanding. They are located in the town adjacent to San Ignacio - Santa Elena.

Martha's was pretty good. And a good place to stay, BUT I recommend making a reservation before showing up. We went there, and only got a room (no reservation) through a new friend we had just met who interceded on our behalf. He turned out to be Peter Eltringham, the author of "The Rough Guide: Belize"! So, make a reservation. You dont' want to have to go tromping around with all your stuff to find a room! wink

Ditto on Katie's list, and also on Clarissa Falls. My wife and kids had lunch there the other day, and the bill for three came to about Us$5.
