We just got our reservations confirmed for 21-28Jan04! First tiem to Belize. Anyone else traveling these dates?

Sorry to respond to my own question here but, has anyone been to AC at this time of the year? If so, any hints? What is good and bad about it?

Good thing...you will be there during lobster season. I haven't been to AC in January. I was there in February and June. I was in Cayman Brac this past January and the weather wasn't that great. We had lots of rain and it was very windy. In fact, we were able to do very little snorkeling because the sea was too rough. I don't know if that is the typical weather pattern or not. Probably not...think positive. Go to Cocina Caramba and eat a lobster for me. Cheers

We generally go last week in Jan or first week in Feb. Weather is usually pretty nice, upper 80s and the humidity is not bad but the last few years it has been a bit rough outside the reef around then so the diving was somewhat curtailed. Plenty of lobster, plenty of conch, plenty of Belikin.
