Do the cabanas at Ramon's have more than one rental unit per building? The photos on their website give the impression that they have an upstairs and downstairs unit.

I am new to this forum, and have been lurking for a few days reading everything I can. Looks to be a great board. I am planning my first trip around New Years, and would appreciate any input. Right now, kind of focusing on Ramon's, and Banana Beach, but I'm open to any suggestions. Would definately like a nice beach close by.

Thanks in advance for any input-
Jeff

I just got back from AC yesterday, stayed at Banana Beach. Nice beach there. And the room was just what we needed--a private balcony, king size bed, ac, cable tv, safe, small fridge, coffee maker, large 2-sink bathroom. It took about 30-35 minutes to walk into town along the beach. But lots of fun checking out the other hotels/bars along the way. Friendly staff and nice pools.

some do, some don't. some of the ones along the beach have luxury accomodations upstairs, others are one story all by themselves...

Jessica,
We were under the impression that all the units at Banana Beach had kitchens? Our reservation says
"one bedroom ocean-front suite" From reading your email, doesn't sound like you had a full kitchen
We're leaving on the 24th (can't wait!) Glad you had a good trip!

All the "suites" have a kitchen. The "rooms" which are not oceanfront, do not.

Right, the suites all have kitchens. We opted for a balcony room instead, not being big fans of cooking. The oceanfront suites looked gorgeous--have a wonderful time!!

At Ramon's, only the gardenview cabanas & seaside cabanas with 2 double beds (not king beds) & 2 honeymoon cabanas are individual & free standing. The rest of the rooms are 4 per building, 2 up and 2 down. The presidential suite & int'l suite are the top floor of these quad buildings (like 2 rooms).
