I too am very sorry to see this happen to you, KC. I am beaming all my good thoughts your way. I agree with Denny - you'll come back even stronger than before.

Thank goodness you were insured, and equally fortunately no-one was hurt.
just out of interest did the pure gold dinner set melt or did you manage to save it?

Many thanks to everyone for good thoughts. Yes, we will make this work out to be even better and stronger.

Pedro, I guess you are insinuating that we are wealthy (gold dinner set and all). Big assumption on your part, but you can assume anything you wish if it makes you feel better. I could not care less.

HI KC, I as well do not know you as far as I can recall, however just a thought, I had a fire at an apartment I kept here at home while in Belize, after returning from Belize after a few months down there, the next day it burned to the ground, and if my neighbor had not pounded on the door and awoken my cousin he would have went with it. I am just now after 2 years, getting new items such as a desk and a tv and bed. I had an oak sleigh bedroom set as well as a leather bed set with all leather furniture 3 tv's etc, so I know the feeling. Always look at these things in the right mind frame, and dont listen to people who have negative things to say. Be happy no one was hurt and you had insurance. and try to smile:)

Kathy,
We're very sorry for your loss.I remember seeing pictures before the fire; it was quite lovely. Having just built a house in the Placencia area, I think I can begin to imagine what losing it must feel like. Has the cause of the fire been determined? Our good wishes are with you.

So sorry to hear this.

Seeing it from the outside, it looked like a beautiful place.

Any idea how the fire started?

Kathy so sorry to hear of your loss. Such a lovely place you had created. When the time is right I would bet you will create something even more inviting. Blessing to you. Indygal
