There is Reef Radio - can't remember what the station number is. They only broadcast until 12 midnight, they play a pretty good selection.

Reef Radio? Anybody know anything about this? Is it on the island? AM or FM #, ect. Now is it -reception, what do they play, is it well listened to? We were never able to get anything on the radio when we were in SP but maybe it was the radio in our room.
Kerry, starting a radio station is an idea we are kicking around.

Reef Radio is FM 92.3, they are in San Pedro and owned by the Salazars. They play 80's, latin, rock, anything and everything. Love FM I believe is more popular out of Belize City (they have a website) but I listened to Reef Radio quite often.

San Pedro made history on Tuesday, August 17th, 1999 when the first radio station on the island hit the airwaves. Mr. Eiden Salazar Jr. is the person responsible for giving San Pedro the prestige of having its first radio station, known as Radio Arecife or Reef Radio. This new enterprise transmits at 92.3 on your FM dial to several locations in the country. Radio Arecife operates daily from 6:00 am to midnight. The response from the public has been trememdous.

ya beat me to it, Sweet! smile

Sorry Kerry, it was just an idea that sounded good to us if there was no radio station. Probably one station is enough. Got any other ideas? I'm open.
