Bob, I fly out of Cleveland.USAIR,I love that flight. It is so much better than the Continental one, layover in Houston,is terrible, on the way there you have to run from one end of the airport to the other, in about 10 minutes, on the way home, customs is aweful and you barely make it to your plane.Plus, Continental does not have a return flight to Cleveland on the same day, you have to stay overnight in Houston, that is if you go before April, when the time changes. Customs is way better in Charlotte, you have enough time.Never flew there with American and hopefully never have to. Also, I agree with the Banana Beach balcony rooms. They are clean, comfortable, excellent price, with breakfast included. Jackie

What do you consider inexpensive? $40, $80, $100, $125?

Hope my flight w/American isn't bad, wasn't when flying to Puerto Vallarta. I fly out of Detroit into Miami, w/1 hr. layover and then on to Belize.

We fly American every trip we go on, no matter where and we have not had problems. I guess it just depends on what one expects for their money I can say we were cared for, extremely well, one trip to Belize. One of us was very ill and well accomodated, even had the ambulance awaiting us at the airport at Philip Goldson. It's American Airlines for us.

I agree with Jackie about the Charlotte airport. I'll always fly US Air when that option is available from now on. Customs is so quick and easy, the airport isn't terribly large or crowded, so it makes it nice. Cheerz, Vicki
