Snowbubbles: Just curious -- how many times have you been to San Pedro or to Belize?

If you want to be walking distance to shopping, the only choice on your list is Ramon's. The rest of these places require you take a boat to San Pedro. Well, technically, you can take a golf cart from Journey's end into town, but it's a fairly long trip, and make sure you get a gas powered cart because the batteries on the others run out very quickly (at least ours did). Good luck!
I would check out Victoria House. We walked down there from our hotel, and it was gorgeous! However, the walk along the beach from VH into town (at least to about Banana Beach) isn't exactly beautiful - lots of trash.

If the water is your thing, you may also want to research Placencia. There are some newer, very posh retreats there that look remarkably romantic.

snowbubbles I just responded to some of the board members sugestions, that you have very similar writing flair ,to someone who tries to disrupt this board ,and when looking at it.. it seems they felt they where correct .I am not attacking at all ,only tring to react to this misguided ,sick person .... and if I was attacking you , trust me you would you know !!!!!!! if your not that person we will get over it ???????
