Prior to going abroad, I conducted research to help me identify knock offs, and knock offs are widespread. I was present when the box of Cohibas was opened at the Rum House. The warranty seal was in tact, with the trademark insignia that contains a shield with a hat resting on top. The bottom of the box contained a heat stamp, with an EL abbreviation below. I know from research that the EL abbreviation is the main cohiba factory in Havana. They were good rolls, not hard, and a terrific smoke. If they were fakes, I could care less.
