October 13 or November 27?

For the last 2 years running, we've successfully brought down in luggage and "smuggled" through customs a turducken for Thanksgiving (or 2 for that matter!!!) For those of you who do not do their Thanksgiving shopping in Lousiana or who have never heard John Madden espouse the virtues of, a turducken is as the name implies: basically a deboned chicken, stuffed in a deboned duck, stuffed in a deboned turkey, all themselves stuffed w/ stuffing. If we attempt a three-peat this year, perhaps (be it the day of Thanksgiving or a day around) we can use it as a catalyst to meet some of you board members who we have not yet met...

My idea would be to approach Fido's and book an entire large table for a one off price including a bottle of wine per person (ok make it a half)-Cat x will be playing and the table would be the groups for the night

Others may disagree, but turkey is the last thing I want when in the tropics on vacation. Give me lobster. Give me shrimp, or red snapper! Give me some jerk! Since my bday is on Tday this year, I will be having lobster (and some Vitamin T!).
