Hello, everyone!

My wife and I will be staying at Captain Morgan's in November and I have a couple of questions.

First, if we rent bikes and take them into town will a water taxi take us and the bikes back to Captain Morgan's if we decide to stay in town late? If not, what would we do with the bikes? Lock them up and leave them?

Also, we are planning on doing the Lamanai trip but wanted to do one more mainland excursion. I was considering Cave Tubing but was wondering if there were any other jungle/cave excursions that anyone could recommend. Tours that emphasized nature or walking cave tours where you spent more time inside a cave. For example, would the Inland Blue Hole/St. Herman's cave tour be like that? Or would the Rio Frio caves and 1000 Ft. Falls be better? Anything else?

We are really looking forward to this trip! Hope to see some of ya'll there. Thanks in advance!

Although I've never seen anyone on the water taxi with bikes, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't care.

As for cave tubing, I did the tour with Searious. I thought it was worthwhile; one day tour including the Zoo and a nice lunch at Jaguar Paw Resort. I'm not familiar with the other places you mentioned; hopefully someone off this Board can help you out.

Perhaps you would like the Actun Muknal Tunichel cave tour. It is quite spectacular. Do a search on this board and you will find some nice reading about it. If you would like touring it with Patrick Warrior after reading some of the reports, let me know your dates and I can arrange it.

Barbara,

Actually, I that is a tour that I would be interested in taking. However, I figured it wasn't practical to do from Ambergris as a day trip. My e-mail address is [email protected] if you want to contact me and we can discuss what's involved (like time and money).

Thanks!

Charlie
