Less than 3 months away! This will be the second time to Belize for me and my husband. We were in Placencia at Rum Point in January 2001 and had a fabulous time!!

We are planning to stay at Mata Rocks, in part because of the very complimentary postings on this message board.

When we're in AC, we're looking to relax, go snorkeling, enjoy some Belikins and some good Belizean food, see some Mayan ruins, etc. Any suggestions re the above as far as restaurants, snorkeling spots, Mayan trips would be appreciated.

Is anyone else going to be there when we're there?

Hi. I'll be staying at Mata Rocks for the first time in February 2004. Let me know what you think of the place.

A friend an I (two single chicks!) will be there from Jan 16 thru Jan 25th. Very similar timeframe. We are staying just a bit south of you at SunBreeze (behind the Bluewater Grill). We'll have to plan to cross paths at BC's for a Belikin.

Actually Irish, unless Sunbreeze moved , you are NORTH of them, and slightly more than "a bit"

Hey Barry, nice watercolors! I totally understand your inspiration. I'm hooked on the tropical locations as well (and I'm about to have my 5th visit to AC as well.)
