hey, this is a surprisingly active board! thanks for all the replies!!

I'm definitely staying at Pedro's and would be interested to hear of any other/different/economical places to stay near the beaches: Dec-Feb. (I'm very quiet; just want to laze around in the sun, maybe paddle about a little smile ) Maybe I'll open a bike rental business smile )

You are definitely staying at Pedro's but want other suggestions?? confused Ruby's Hotel is located on the beach and I believe the rates are very much the same. It would be easy for me to decide between the two...

Wendy-for your info. Ruby's during the high season charges a minimum of double what I charge.

This is for Pedro.
Hi Peter, I am also a Brit and was thinking about staying in your place. From the pictures on your site it looks like the beds have walls even though it is a hostel. Is this correct?
I would like some privacy whilst sleeping smile
Regards,
Peter

I have a new website going up next week but basically there are 20 rooms with two large single beds in each,a ceiling fan, lights and a lockable cupboard underneath the beds(bathrooms are shared)-we have a bar, volleyball court, horseshoes if they arrive and an olympical swimming pool -bar-b-qs will happen during high season.

Thanks for the reply.
That sounds great, so can I book a room for two of us then? How is the availability in late November early December. We are looking to stay a month or more.
