Hello All,

My girlfriend and I will be coming to AC on Saturday to visit and celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We will be staying at the Blue Tang for the week and are looking forward to it so much we can't stop talking about it! I have been lurking here for a few weeks and would like to say thanks to everyone who uses this board for all the helpful hints (Special thanks to Marty and Pedro for the Green book - Made us feel as if we were already there - How do we find u to buy you that Belikin?!) A few more questions:

Since cell phones seem to be not the best choice what would be reccomended for calling home once or twice? - Phone cards? And should we pick them up here (ohio)or the Belize airport?

Will it be reasonable to set aside a day to golfcart about the island? Could we see most of it in 1 day?

I realize that Rum is the Belizean drink but how about the Tequila? Should we bring some from the airport or is it reasonably priced in AC? (Dotty loves Margarita's).

Any good Blues or R&B bands playin' we should be sure and catch?

We really arent planning much in advance but would like to do a snorkel cruise and a trip to Lamanai - is it better to book those in advance or just wait til we get there and see what day we feel like doing it?

And finally - any Browns or Indians fans living there that would like a hat or tee shirt? We can work out a swap if you'd like something brought down.

Joe & Dotty

Joe - Great questions! I'll be down next week too (for the first time) and would like to know some of the same things.

Specifically, do you need to book the trip to Lamanai in advance? And any good music and/or restaurant suggestions.

Can't wait for next week!

Jen where are you staying and I will personally deliver a green guide if they are not one of our featured hotels.
You do not have to bookanything in advance at the moment.
Plan Fido's for your saturday night's entertainment-the only place to be.

To get a green guide you have to be nice to Marty, stay in a hotel that advertises in the guide or go to Coconet Internet Bar and buy Pedro a few drinks and then you will get one.
Jen one will be delivered to Woody's

Well I'm sure I will be spending some quality time at the Coconuts bar, since it is next door to Woody's, so I will definitely buy you a few drinks. Thanks again!
