The pool at The Tides (Patojos) should be completed this/next week. He did a nice job with the new deck and pool.

We stay at the Tides when we come down.
A great place.
A pool will be nice but
I hope it doesn't effect the great prices.
I am sure his kids will love it.

It has already affected the rates - quite a jump recently. Still a great place but not on the budget side anymore.

Barbara, I'm not sure where you got your info from but I'm afraid it is incorrect.

The price is still US$100 for a double room, as it has been for ages, and will very soon include the extra value of the pool as well as continental breakfast. They still have the fun bar Jumping Frijoles, as well as one of the best Dive Centres on the Caye in Patojos Scuba Centre. In most peoples book this is now even better value and with great prices too!

Someone from the Tides just emailed me your new rates for $125/double + 15% tax & gratuity. Is this a mistake?

Yes, someone has made a mistake. Sabrina confirmed that room rates are US$100 a night and they never planned to change them this season.

What is considered this season? From now until Dec. 15? Or from now until May 15?

The latter, so I imagine prices would stay the same for nearly all of 2004 as I doubt anyone would raise prices in slow season.
