I am planning on bringing a small sailboat, that I have built, by car from Texas to the Yucatan peninsula. I would like to sail it from Xcalak to San Pedro via the Boca Bacalar Chico channel. I am wondering if there is an immigration office in San Pedro.

When you come through the cut look for the TMM catamarans and then anchor slightly North. When you come ashore look for Ruby's Hotel and then follow the land side road that leads West from Ruby's, the first building you see on the left after the school holds the Immigration offices.

Thanks for the response. That's great news.I had read in a cruising guide that there was none. Glad to hear that is no longer the case.
