First, thanks to all of you that have been so helpful in our planning. If you don't mind yet another question! We have a hard sided tote on wheels, if we were to fill that will snacky food maybe some frozen meat to grill would we have a hard time getting this through customs? Are there any rules about how many bags of Doritos you can bring in???

2 bag limit on Doritos, unless they are nacho cheese flavor, then limit is 1 bag. No limit on plain potato chips or pretzels.

There is a big nacho cheese plant in Belize City and they don't take kindly to foreign competition. Frankly, I'm surprised you can even get one bag through.
In fact, I once knew a guy named Nacho Goldstein who took a trip to Belize. I never heard from him again. I suspect the Nacho Cheese cartel took his name as an offense and had him snuffed out.

Frozen meat they may give you a problem with. You are supposed to have a permit to bring in meat. Last time I brought some specialty cheeses in and they were all over me because of Western Dairies. You may make it thru, but be prepared if they decide to confiscate it.

thanks Chris, knew there had to be a reason for it. Glad to see it's based on something valid.

I remember reading about the Goldstein case. Never found a body. Seems that shortly after his disappearance, they started marketing a new "Kosher" style nacho cheese sauce.

Too funny! It's "Kay". Remind me not to let her make a pot of beans for me.
