My wife and I were in Belize last spring break and simply feel in love with the folks of San Pedro. We are now looking to come back! Imagine that!!! Well we are bringing our kids along for our 25th. and we need a place to house Wife and I along with 4 kids (24,16,13&10). I used this board last year and it really helped me have a great time, Any help in finding a place to stay would be great. We do love the beach, a pool, and yes a little belikin or rum punch, after we tuck the kids in of course. NOT! Hope someone can help us find the right place. So any ideas!!

The link is actually only for 2 adjoined units (upper/lower) in the Paradise Villas complex, but booked together they are a nice set-up for 6 persons. The downstairs 1-bedroom has a large living area & provides ample privacy while the upstairs 2 bedroom has a smaller living area for the 'kids' to hang out in if the parents turn in for the night first. With the individual units offered at a 20% discount, you end up with a large, 3-bedroom, 2-living room / 2 kitchen + patio complex for only $245/night. You may even be able to get an additional discount for booking both units. It's probably one of the furthest units in the complex from the actual beach ... but the pool area is quite nice, your only about a 5 minute walk to Fido's, and manager Nellie is incredibly helpful (down to stocking the fridge for us!). We'd be stayin' there this year if a family member wasn't 'expecting'. Even at full price it's a pretty good deal for 6, even 7 persons that need a little elbow room.

Banana Beach has "expandable" suites in the newer section -- up to four bedrooms. Banyan Bay has very large two-bedroom, two-bath suites that are good for families (and you can sleep one or two in the living room). Banyan Bay may also have a three-bedroom unit or two. A few of the other condo places have three bedrooms units too, including Sunset Beach. Xanadu and The Palms also has some sizeable units. And of course you can get two units, including some up and down stairs such as at Paradise Villas and Belize Yacht Club. And if you really want to go upscale Mata Chica has a new 5,000 sq. ft. "mansion on the beach" plus their two-bedroom villas. Ditto Victoria House where you can rent part of or all of houses.

As usual, Lan Sluder has made some good suggestions. We stayed in a 3 br/3bth beachfront condo at Banyan Bay last August and highly recommend it. Each room has a kingsize bed. From our room, we were mere steps away from the beach, bar, restaurant and pool.

Caribe Island also has 3 bed/3 baths.

Caye Villas and Los Encantos offer three bedroom homes - really nice.
