Town Park Wall Project

The Ambergris Caye Chamber of Commerce has almost completed it's project to beautify the town park wall on Front Street. Philippe from Mata Chica will be adding sponge color this week, and a few more plants will be arriving. Although all the bills are not in, the cost is expected to be approximately $2,000bz. The project took one day. The efforts of several members is greatly appreciated.

We would like to thank the following:
Materials:
Mata Chica, for the palm trees and initiating the project.
Captain Morgan's for donating the plants.
Castillo's Hardware for discounting the materials.
Fido's for refreshments.

Labor:
Taste of Thailand, for the generator, tools and painting.
Keith Newton, for providing work, contracting, and overseeing the job.
Pat Stiley, for the spray painting equipment and providing labor.
Tom Vidrine, for organizing the effort, pressure washing the wall, and the tools, tractor, and providing labor.

All ready for the carnaval painters. Remember before the wall when you could still see the water?

it is possible that if one stands on the proper side of the wall, the water will be visible.

Who decides whats proper? In the US it's Attorney General Ashcroft.
