With that said, you seem to understand why so many can't tolerate cruise ships or cruisers. That’s what cruisers do to an area, they just cruise in, throw out the cash and leave the trash, they disrupt the surroundings and then they leave…
I’ve seen it far to many times, to bad it’s happening these days. I like other destinations in the region, some of those are getting hammered with cruisers as well.
First time I went to Roatan 12/13 years ago no cruise boats that I was aware of. But they are showing up there as well. I’ve found a new place to hang out these days, the cruisers have NOT been there yet, but I suspect they will find the place in 5/8/10 years but ya never know? I would be shocked if it were anytime sooner than that…
Down with cruisers…

Idaho will you share? We promise not to tell any cruise lines or TV shows.

Indygal, not a chance, Klcman, ya know Idaho does have a seaport in the northern end, I really believe the cruise ships will NEVER make it there… :p

that is, until the next major quake on the San Andreas fault realigns the CA/Or/Wa to the equal status of Hol Chan - then look out!
( and yes, I knew that - The Port of Lewiston allows the exportation of millions of bushels of grain down the Snake and Columbia Rivers for overseas shipment)

Although I've never traveled there, I have some friends that swear Nevis, West Indies is the best "undisclosed" location in the Caribbean. Anyway, the typical reaction to overcrowding is finding your "happy place" and enjoying.
If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.

I wonder how the diving is around the Pearl Islands, Panama. It sure looks like a pretty area.

I don't belize that Nevis has a deep water port, so it's not a port of call for the cruise lines.
