Will be in San Pedro and Caye Caulker in a few months
clear kayaks again, having been there once before a few years ago. But this time I'm bringing something with me that I'd like to show some of the residents there. As an aquatic biologist and underwater photographer I've always been interested in showing people the underwater world and now I've found a kayak that will do just that. It's a kayak with an acrylic crystal clear bottom that shows the rider what's below the boat. Can you imagine how amazing that would be over the reef, over the rays, over the nurse sharks ? And I'd like to see some of the locals rent them out and get involved in the ecotourism of their country. Every body wins when that happens, and the incentive is to take care of the reef. Does anyone know some one I could talk to about showing them this kayak ?
Thanks,
Doug Stamm
