We would like to know if it is inconvenient to get out of Portofino in the evenings in case we want to head to the San Pedro Town?

Would 5 nights there be sufficient for relaxation and maybe one night in the jungle.

How do we get from Portofino to the Jungle???

Plane or boat?

I'd fly to Municipal Airstrip in Belize City (just to save a bit of time) ...if you can book your jungle lodge of choice ahead of time they will be able to pick you up and shuttle you to the resort. There is normally a charge for this service.

IMO 2 nights in the jungle would be great fun. 1 night only is a bit short. I have stayed at Duplooys and Ian Anderson's Cave's Branch Lodge. Both are great. Cave's Branch is rather more "jungly". They have an awesome range of tours and adventures. The food at both places is great...Cave's Branch in particular.

Any of the jungle lodges will be able to get you shuttled to the International airport in plenty of time for your flight back home provided it's not too early in the morning.
