We have read great things about The Palms. With it being so close to this small airport - is it really noisy from the air traffic, or do you just zone it out and not notice while relaxing on the beach with a cocktail? We are looking to book there for 8 days in May. Thanks, NancyO

Can't say we noticed in much at all when we were staying there - perhaps once or twice when out by the pool - I think most of the noise is absorbed by the trees and other buildings and they are only signle propellor jobs anyway. I wouldn't worry about it.

We have stayed there and loved it. It is centrally located, very nice and quiet. I think you will be pleased.

Just back from 9 days at The Palms..The airport is no problem--planes end at 7 pm each day. We did have a problem with the street noise behind The Palms since the bedrooms face that way. We were awakened several times at 2, 3 and 4:oo a.m
with " party noise"--singing, loud talk and lots of dog barking. Just tune it out since The Palms is the absolute best place to stay. Enjoy your trip. Dive Doc

There is plane noise that starts around 7am. If you are early risers or deep sleepers then no problem. We are generally early risers though on vacation tend to sleep a bit later. The noise was a factor for us. Other than that The Palms is awesome.
