Hi! We stayed at Mata Rocks last month and we loved it!! The staff is awesome. Erica, the manager is always smiling and more than willing to help you plan your adventures and Sherilyn, the bartender makes an awesome drink and is fun to be around. It's about 1 1/2 miles from town and it's a nice walk on the beach or it's a quick taxi ride. The rooms are really nice, no telephones, who needs them!! There is a great chinese take out place across the street....there are so many more things I couldn't begin to list them. You will love Ambergris!! HAVE FUN!!!

The Blue Tang is really nice too!! Located just two (2) minutes north of center of town. Excellent location. Restaurants, gift shops, supermarkets etc. What a convenient location!!
