My sister and I are visiting Belize this summer. We want to spend about a week snorkeling and shelling. We are looking for someplace to stay that has great snorkeling from the shore so we don't have to take a trip every day. Rustic accomodations are fine.....a flush toilet would be nice , but it's not a must have! In our dream world the food would also be good. No night life or shopping required. Snorkeling, shelling, beachcombing, reading and lazying around is what we are after. So, I've done a lot of searching around .....but I'd love to have some input from ya'll....

The lodges there are rustic and comfortable, all meals are included in the prices posted, hot water showers and "flush toilets"

Lots of fun, to do lots of nothing but snorkel, hammock and read. We love it and keep returning yearly We'll be there again, soooooooon

There are places for cocktails, I don't wanna leave that out

You can walk to the reef, in five minutes, really !!! If you decide to go, bring water shoes. I don't recommend barefoot for in the water, but on land is fine. Quaint, quiet and you can make it what you want.
